plug gauges of non-standard forms and pitch /
diameter combination.
We stock a wide range of screw thread gauges
and are able to produce a variety of thread forms,
examples of which are Acme, Trapezoidal, Buttress,
Rope Forms, Conduit and Lamp Caps.

Calibration
for gauges
| Calibration service on new and old
gauges. A comprehensive certificate can be supplied
which shows gauge tolerances and actual gauge sizes
and is fully acceptable as part of IS0 90002.
Temperature controlled facilities. New or used screw
gauges can be supplied with a NAMAS and in-house certification. |

Thread
Grinding Service
| A sub-contract thread grinding service
is available. Both internal and external threads can
be ground in a variety of materials.
Components typically ground for our customers include
lead screws and nuts, spindles, crushing rollers, hydraulic
units, plastic moulds and electrodes.
We believe that within Mercury Tool & Gauge we
have the expertise to answer your questions on screw
threads and we are willing to offer any advice or assistance

of products from simple hand held attribute gauges
to sophisticated receiver gauges incorporating
DTI or electrical outputs.
Our products can be to British Standard blanks,
customer design drawings or we can offer a complete
design, manufacture and calibration. Microprise

gauging such as gap gauges, flush pin gauges,
length gauges, plain ring gauges etc. This type
